Ipswich Game Report:
Ipswich Best on Ground : #10 Stewart Banks
Boars Red Card - #4 (swinging arm to the head whilst a player was bound to a ruck)
Very appreciative of Boars willingness to move the game to Friday night to accommodate Ipswich, however continual and repeated foul play from Boars was a little ordinary. Well controlled by the referee, with a red carding however the "cheap shots" continued until the final whistle. Some Boars players seem to have no control over themselves regarding foul play and discipline and was a dampener on a typical tough Ipswich v Boars match. Pine Rivers #6 was the culprit on almost every occassion, head high tackles, throwing punches off the ball, throwing punches while players were on the ground or buried in rucks. He was lucky to stay on the field and his on field behaviour should be addressed by his club. Everyone at the ground watching, would most likely have seen this player cheap shot someone, as it was happening all the time. Very ordinary to say the least, but typical of these two players (#4, #6)
